We are excited to announce that the MSKTC video entitled Exercise and Fitness after SCI is a Silver winner of 40th Annual Telly Awards in 2019. Established in 1979, The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens, which selects winners from more than 12,000 entries across the U.S. and around the world. MSKTC is proud to be recognized along with other prominent industry, video, and television production companies that are past and present winners, including Discovery Communications, Conde Nast, Disney, Time Warner, Universal, Viacom Media Networks, Verizon Media, Comcast, CBS, Fox, NBC, PBS, The History Channel, Fast Company & Inc Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Recording Academy/GRAMMYs, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Adolescent and School Health, Library of Congress, Medscape, WebMD, National Safety Council, Smokefree.gov, The Humane Society of the United States, U.S. Department of Defense’s Military Community and Family Policy. This award coincides with our promotion of the Exercise and Fitness after SCI video during National Fitness and Sports Month in May.

We especially want to thank the researchers and individuals with spinal cord injury from the University of Pittsburgh Model Center on Spinal Cord Injury for their help with developing this video.
