| Better Day Music Festival a Success The "The Better Day Music Festival" fundraiser was a huge success for the NSCIA-CT Chapter. Held at Murphy’s & Scarletti’s in Farmington on April 19th, the event raised over $12,000 for the Chapter. The Music Festival showcased local bands: Electric Blue and Komic Truth, Crazy Cusin Crew for the second year, Circus Fire and Chris Tofield and the Bluebenders who have preformed for all three years. Gino Mancini, Vice President of Development, explained the turnout was surprising. "We had about 400 people come and support the organization." Gino also wanted to thank "Brian and Bill at Murphy’s and their entire staff who were unbelievable. BlueMoose Productions did a great job organizing the entertainment. The whole Development Committee worked hard and devoted a lot of time to this event and it paid off. The money earned is going to help maintain Chapter supports and resources for years to come. |
