President's Message - Fall - Winter 2008

Dear Members,

Jeff Dion (and Max), NSCIA Chapter President

Hello fellow Association Members my name is Jeff Dion I am the current President of the CT. Chapter of the National Spinal Cord Injury Association. I was re-elected for another 2 year term by the Board of Directors this past August. This past year has been a great year for the Association, we have had unprecedented growth financially with our most successful Golf Tournament to date, and in conjunction with ERN (Eastern Rehabilitation Network) we have raised $18,000.00 to benefit our Association and people with SCI. in the State of CT. We are on our way to publishing a new CT Resource Directory and a renewal of our Stop Trauma Program. We have seen a lot of new volunteers come onto our Board. Our fiscal year still has 6 more months to go I am excited to see our Association grow. I urge anyone who wishes to volunteer or become a member to do so because without all of you our Association wouldn’t be possible and lives wouldn’t be changed. Thank You all and Happy Holidays. Jeff Dion, President
