Dear Friends,
Hello fellow Association Members my name is Jeff Dion I am the President of the CT. Chapter of the National Spinal Cord Injury Association.
This past year has been a great year for the Chapter, we have had unprecedented growth financially with our annual Golf Tournament and I would like to thank ERN (Eastern Rehabilitation Network) we have raised $16,000.00 to benefit our Chapter and those people with SCI. in the State of CT. There was a great time had by all at our annual Music Festival in Farmington at Murphy’s and Scarletti’s I would like to thank them also.
The President’s Professionals Award was given to Erin Prastine and the DR. Philip Arnold Award was given to Caitlin DePalma at our annual picnic at Gaylord Hospital, thank you both for everything. We have published a new CT Resource Directory.
Our Stop Trauma Program has been refurbished with the addition of “Think First” and there are visits to schools currently taking place.
We have seen a lot of new volunteers come onto our Board. This is the beginning of fiscal year 09’. I am excited to see our Association grow. I urge anyone who wishes to volunteer or become a member to do so because without all of you our Chapter wouldn’t be possible and lives wouldn’t be changed.
