What are Work Incentives?

Work incentives are special rules that make people with disabilities receiving Social Security Disability Insurance or Supplemental Security Income to explore work options and still receive benefits until that are able to support themselves. Social Security Work Incentives help beneficiaries with a disability remove barriers to work. Work Incentives offer support services and provide a safety net to assist beneficiaries in finding the right job and succeed in the work place.

What is the Ticket to Work?

The Ticket to Work Program connects beneficiaries with employment service providers to achieve individual work goals. The Ticket to Work Program provides Social Security beneficiaries real choices in obtaining the services and resources they need to find and maintain employment, while providing a safety net to help during this transition. With the help of Employment Networks, disability beneficiaries who receive Social Security or Supplemental Security Income can take the next step toward work while maintaining

Ticket to Work programs helps you to identify work opportunities, and give you access to Employment Networks and vocational rehabilitation centers dedicated to helping people with disabilities succeed in the workplace.

Controlling benefits is important. Ticket to Work lets you consider work options while keeping benefits until you are able to support yourself. Ticket to work also makes it easy to get back on benefits when and if needed.
