Wheeling and Able Golf Classic Continues to be a Success!!

2/2/2014 12:00:00 AM

A field of golfers took off on September 10th for the 14th Annual Wheeling and Able Golf Classic at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield. Brad Field, Channel 30 chief meteorologist, who has been with us all 14 years, emceed the event. Brad did pretty well with the weather as we experienced only a couple of very brief showers - we never let Brad forget the really bad storms we’ve had!

This year’s contest winners were:

1st place golfers – Joe DeGray, John Bellobuono, Mike Dupes, Joe Montano

2nd place golfers – Brent Cobb, Mike Thomas, Joe Ouellette, Ed Coleman

3rd place golfers – Roger Bissell, Jeff Kelly, Doug Teeson, Howard Mosher

Longest Drive – Joe DeGray, Ann Dwyer

Closest to the Pin – David Monti, Robyn Cop
