Shaping the Future of Disability Rights
2026 Nonpartisan Candidates’ Forum
Join us for a nonpartisan educational forum where candidates or their representatives answer questions on disability issues. Participants include candidates for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of the State, State Comptroller, State Treasurer, and Connecticut’s five U.S. House districts. It is a chance to learn where they stand and to get voting information before the election.
The event is free and includes food and beverages, disability resource tables, and exhibits. Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be available in person.
When: Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Doors open at 12:00 PM, and the forum runs from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Where: Bristol Event Center, 112 Century Drive, Bristol, CT 06010. Virtual attendance is also available.
Registration deadline: Tuesday, October 6 at 12:00 PM.
How to register
Registration is required to attend, either in person or virtually. We need an accurate count so we can order enough food, so please register before the deadline.
